Help!! Help!!
Questions you might be thinking to yourself:
I know someone who died from the Coronavirus. How Can I process this?
My loved one died from the Coronavirus. How can I grieve through this?
The children are asking if their grandparents, or even their parents, will die from the Coronavirus. What should I tell them?
LET ME HELP YOU. (You Don’t Have To Go Through This Alone)
These are the strangest of times. Not just strange. Also, weird, sad, and unique.
In my grief counseling practice, anything death-related is fair game for our sessions these days.
I am counseling people who are in anticipatory grief of a loved one from COVID 19. I am counseling people who have a loved one in imminent death UNRELATED to COVID 19. They face challenges in spending time with them in their final days and/or burying them from afar. I am counseling people who are currently grieving a death from a time before this crisis began. They feel deserted and alone in their mourning, as attention is now focused more on deaths from the virus. I am counseling people who are RE-GRIEVING the death of a loved one from days ago, months ago, years ago, or even the distant past.
Time alone in isolation can take your mind anywhere it decides to go.
